Every Sunday this summer, our family’s lakeside home in Port Carling becomes something more—it becomes Sunday House.
From July 6 to August 24, each Sunday begins with a simple ritual. At 8:00 AM, we hang an orange towel over the railing. It’s our quiet signal to friends, neighbours, and guests that the house is open, the espresso is on, and the day has begun. That towel stands for warmth, welcome, and a bit of Muskoka magic—the kind you don’t stumble on often.
Sunday House is our way of building something intentional: a summer rhythm rooted in community. Mornings are filled with swimming, paddling, and play. Afternoons unfold over shared food, relaxed conversation, and moments that matter. Everything is designed with care and fuelled by what we call unreasonable hospitality—knowing your name, remembering the little things, and making you feel deeply at home.
If you want to help create magic on the lake this summer, we’d love to have you on the team.

-
Recreational Program Associate
Lifeguard Certification Required
You’ll rotate through roles; including lifeguarding, teaching swimming, leading paddling sessions, coordinating outdoor games, and supporting overall guest experience.
This isn’t your average waterfront job. You’ll be helping kids learn to swim, guiding canoes with nervous beginners, remembering families by name, and offering sunscreen before being asked. You’ll play a key part in making Sunday House feel safe, warm, and unforgettable.
-
Hospitality Associate
Smart Serve required prior to start date.
You’ll rotate through a variety of roles each week, from coffee and cocktail service to food prep, cleanup, to greeting guests.
This is a role for someone who notices the little things before being asked, who can make a stranger feel like a longtime friend, and who believes in the power of a warm welcome.
You’ll be part of a thoughtful, joyful team that helps create a seamless, relaxing day for families and guests alike.
